Site-to-Site Configuration
EpiGrid’s Site-to-Site option provides customers with a secure, dedicated network connection between their own internal infrastructure and EpiGrid’s hosted environment. This solution is ideal for organizations that require consistent, high-performance access to CAD and PDM environments without relying on traditional VPN configurations. The Site-to-Site connection utilizes AES-256 encrypted IPsec tunnels to ensure data remains secure during transmission, and it is fully managed by EpiGrid, including configuration and maintenance. This approach eliminates potential bottlenecks, enhances stability for remote and multi-site users, and is especially valuable for companies with sensitive IP or compliance requirements like ITAR, HIPAA, or NIST. The Site-to-Site service is billed per connection and offers a scalable, enterprise-grade solution for integrating local networks with EpiGrid’s cloud-hosted engineering infrastructure.
Site-to-Site Prerequisites:
- Customer has or will acquire a IPSEC enabled firewall
- Customer has or will acquire a static IP address
- Customer has or will acquire the services of an internal IT resource who can configure the firewall
