Converge At 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025
We Came. We Saw. We Bridged the Gap.
3DEXPERIENCE World 2025 didn’t disappoint—and neither did the incredible energy from the SOLIDWORKS community. From fresh tech to future-focused conversations, it was clear: bridging the gap between Engineering and IT isn’t just a theme, it’s a movement.
We’re proud to be part of it, and even more excited for what’s next. The annual show is not only our chance to catch up with our contacts at SOLIDWORKS and the 3DEXPERIENCE, but we also love catching up with our clients who made the trip.
Here are a few points that we found interesting from the show:
Meet Aura: Your New AI Copilot in SOLIDWORKS
At 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025, Dassault Systèmes introduced Aura, an AI-powered virtual companion designed to enhance the SOLIDWORKS experience.
Debuting as part of SOLIDWORKS' Gen 7 stage, Aura functions as a conversational chatbot trained on SOLIDWORKS training guides, best practices, and help documentation. It assists users by learning from their interactions, providing guidance, and performing tasks, all while ensuring that AI responses are personalized and user IP remains secure. Aura is set to be available on the platform across devices starting July 2025.
A Smarter Way to Configure, Price, and Quote Platform CPQ
Dassault Systèmes teased an exciting new Platform CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solution set to launch this summer. While details are still under wraps, the goal is clear: empower manufacturers to offer highly customizable products without reinventing the wheel each time. This upcoming tool aims to streamline the quoting process by eliminating the need to design every configuration from scratch—unlocking speed, flexibility, and scalability for engineering and sales teams alike.
SOLIDWORKS + Apple Vision Pro: A Glimpse into the Future of Engineering Design
And finally, one of the most talked-about moments at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025 was the unveiling of SOLIDWORKS’ collaboration with Apple, showcasing native support for the Apple Vision Pro. This partnership signals a bold leap into immersive design, where engineers can visualize and interact with their 3D models in mixed reality—right from the familiar SOLIDWORKS environment. From intuitive model manipulation to spatial design reviews, the integration opens up entirely new dimensions for engineering teams ready to embrace the future. It’s more than just a tech demo—it’s the start of a design revolution.
Here's looking forward to next year's show, also in Houston!
