Day 2 At 3DEXPERIENCE World — Thanks Dassault Systemes!

Now that the hoopla of Day 1 has subsided, Day 2 is typically the day where big things happen. Of course, the biggest part of Day 2 is the evening excursion, but we'll save that for last.

Tuesday allowed the Converge team to closely link up with our SOLIDWORKS corporate team. As a certified SOLIDWORKS Reseller Partner, we work closely with multiple success teams from Dassault Systemes and this is one of our best chances to get some face-time with our friendly SOLIDWORKS contacts.

But before all of that, we were treated to a captivating morning general session, where the whole conference gathered in one room to hear Jensen Huang (founder and CEO of NVIDIA, a SOLIDWORKS partner) speak about the numerous ways NVIDIA has used and currently uses SOLIDWORKS to design the chips and datacenters of the future.

The whole Converge team enjoyed the talk, as well as a sneak-peek at some of the additional, traditional SOLIDWORKS enhancements that typically get revealed at World. More on those later.

However enjoyable and necessary the day's engagements were, it's hard to top being hosted by the NASA Johnson Space Center. Despite all the space puns, SOLIDWORKS put on an amazing event by renting out the entire place just for 3DEXPERIENCE World attendees. Being able to see the actual space shuttles that broke Earth's gravitational bounds up close and personal is an awe inspiring opportunity, no matter who you are.

I'd like to thank Dassault Systemes and SOLIDWORKS for hosting such an amazing event and great 3DEXPERIENCE World overall! Here's looking to Nashville 2027!
