AI Is Reshaping Product Design. See What That Means in Practice.
Artificial intelligence is changing the way teams design, iterate, and deliver products. Just as important, it is changing those workflows faster than many organizations expected. That is why we are hosting a practical, focused event on May 20 at 4:30 PM EST in downtown Gainesville, Georgia. This session will show how AI is already helping engineering teams in real design environments and where the technology is headed next.
We are especially excited to host our first local event in two years. More importantly, we want to make it worthwhile. Expect real demonstrations, useful guidance, and practical insight for engineers, CAD admins, and operations teams. And yes, there will be BBQ too.
What to Expect
We will host the event at one of our favorite local spots, Re-cess on the square in downtown Gainesville. Special guest Scott Lidgey from SOLIDWORKS will show how AI is being built into SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE workflows. He will also share real examples of the assistants and tools now beginning to appear in the CAD environment.
That includes capabilities such as geometry-generating helpers, domain-specific assistants, and knowledge tools that surface useful design context at the right time. As a result, attendees will leave with a clearer view of how these tools can support everyday engineering work.
During the session, you will learn:
- How AI can speed up concepting and early-stage modeling
- How AI can reduce repetitive tasks while helping preserve engineering intent
- What the current CAD-focused AI landscape looks like, including tools such as Leo, Aura, Marie-style assistants, and similar solutions
- How to think about AI adoption in a practical way while still protecting intellectual property and sensitive data
Above all, we will keep the session practical and demo-focused. The goal is simple: to give you clear ideas and real examples you can apply right away.
Who should come
- Mechanical engineers and CAD modelers
- Engineering managers and CAD administrators
- Manufacturing/operations leads interested in speeding handoffs
- Anyone curious about applying AI to engineering workflows
