In today’s SOLIDWORKS training tip, learn how to measure the internal volume of a complex shape within a SOLIDWORKS model (like a bottle). Once you have this in place, the measurements will update automatically with changes made to your model such as height, width, and wall thickness. You can even account for different amounts of space left at the top of the bottle since you usually aren’t filling a bottle to the very brim. You can use this SOLIDWORKS 2018 part file to follow along: Internal Volume.sldprt.
